The SS16 collection by L’Herbe Rouge is stylish and sophisticated as ever with soft and elegant tencel styles and interesting knits. The prints are colourful in earthy tones and on the other hand Mondriaan inspired with energetic bright blue, red and white. The SS16 season offers a contemporary denim look in super soft tencel and subtle stripe print updates. Key pieces are the over the knee skirt and jumpsuit in two tones of denim blue. The men’s collection includes stunning shirts in natural sand and earth tones and beautiful woven fabrics inspired by patterns designed by the clouds in the sky.

For L’Herbe Rouge, creating is above all a response to the great discussions about life. The way people live, the use of objects, how clothes are being worn etc. The L’Herbe Rouge collections consume less and better, while reconciling functional design with aesthetics.

The brand only works with materials and manufacturing processes that respect the environment and consume few resources (water, energy, land).

With a short supply chain, the actual production is being done close to where the resources come from, that means that if they culture the organic cotton from Madagascar, the actual clothes are made in Madagascar as well.  L’Herbe Rouge chose her partners based on expertise and because they are ahead of the crowd when it comes to social and environmental criteria (recycling waste water / renewable energy/ reintegration/ fair trade).

The collections are accessible to everyone and the unique pieces can be worn on many different occasions and in many different ways.
